Usage:It is a reactive flame retardant. It has a high bromine content and special stability, and its heat resistance, hydrolysis resistance and light stability are particularly outstanding. Its main use is as a reactive intermediate of high molecular weight flame retardants, and its high solubility makes it very effective in binding with phosphorus as a reactive flame retardant of polyurethane; It can produce flame-retardant elastomer with aminomethyl group through its monohydroxyl reaction. Its high bromine content and good compatibility, applied to hard or soft polyurethane, can improve its flame retardant grade; It can be combined with dibromoneopentyl alcohol to take full advantage of their hydroxyl function.
