Product Name: Rubber Protective Wax
Composition: Mixture of fully refined paraffine wax and microcrystalline wax of wide molecular weight distributed
Appearance: | white to yellowish flakes |
Density, | 20 °C: approx. 0.92 g/cm3 |
Meltting point: | 60 - 67°C |
Rubber protection wax have twin peak of carbon chain atoms. As solubility reduced, wax migrates to the surface of the vulcanizates and forms there a complete protective wax film . The formation of the protective film takes place at a medium-fast rate. The protective film shows an excellent stability against dynamic stress. Antiozonants and antioxidants are carried to the surface of the vulcanizate by the migration of Rubber Protective Wax.
Processing: The flake form provides easier weighing and mixing. To ensure a good dispersion it is recommended to add rubber protective wax right at the beginning of the mixing cycle. The mixing temperature should exceed the melting point of the protective wax.
Dosage: for tyres 1 - 4 phr; in other rubber up to 10 phr depending on the type of compound
Packing: 20 kg/bag
Storage stability: 3 years if stored at temperatures not exceeding 35°C; at higher temperatures caking may occur. This, however, has no effect on the performance
