Synthesis of ZSM-5 by direct method

ZSM-5 zeolite is synthesized directly by reacting soluble glass with aluminium sulphate to ZSM-5 zeolite, not using organic amine.

ZSM-5 zeolite has been used as the parent of alkylationm, isomeration, aromatization and dewaxing catalysts and so on.

ZSM-5 zeolite, characteristic of the simpler synthesis process, stabler quality, free of pollution, less cost, better hydrothermally.

ZSM-5 zeolite won the second place of the State Invention Prize of china.

Main Applications of ZSM-5 Molecular Sieve

1. In fluidized bed catalytic cracking (FCC), the addition of ZSM-5 molecular sieve to FCC catalysts can increase the octane rating of gasoline and the olefin content in the gas phase.
2. Adding ZSM-5 molecular sieve as a component in FCC catalysts can reduce the olefin content in gasoline.
3. Residue catalytic cracking catalysts also incorporate ZSM-5 molecular sieve.
4. A key component in propylene production aids.
5. Extensively used in the chemical industry for shape-selective catalysis, such as in catalysts for para-xylene and xylene isomerization.
6. In environmental protection, for the adsorption and extraction of organic compounds from water; hydrophobic high-silica ZSM-5 zeolites coated on    the surface of honeycomb channels to form adsorption wheels for the purification and adsorption treatment of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
7. Used as a catalyst for low-hydrocarbon alkylation, isomerization, aromatization, and wax dewaxing; f
8. Suitable for esterification catalysts; hydration catalysts; etherification catalysts.
9. Agricultural soil remediation: saline-alkali land management; soil remediation for chemical pesticide contamination, heavy metal pollution, etc.10. Additive for high-end cosmetics.
